Accounting Supervisor, HomeServices Relocation
In her current role with HomeServices Relocation, Mary-Grace Ellington is responsible for the comprehensive management of client accounting operations. Mary-Grace joined HomeServices Relocation in 2004 with over 15 years of invaluable experience in the relocation industry. Prior to her tenure at HomeServices Relocation, she held significant roles as the Closing Coordinator and Accounting Manager at Piedmont Relocation Management Center.
Mary-Grace plays a pivotal role in supervising and supporting her assigned staff, guiding them through the intricacies of day-to-day accounting transactions. This includes but is not limited to data input, transaction audit and coding, invoicing, cash receipts, expense processing, and wire transfers.
Furthermore, Mary-Grace oversees critical functions such as transaction review and approval, payroll and tax processing related to client relocation expenses, meticulous account reconciliations, and the generation of both client and operational reports. Her professional management extends to ensuring the quality control of all transactions within the closing department, including the oversight of inspection, appraisal, and title search processes integral to establishing property values. Through her expertise, Mary-Grace contributes significantly to the seamless and accurate execution of client accounting operations.
Mary-Grace holds Worldwide Employee Relocation Council (ERC®) Certified Relocation Professional (CRP®) and American Payroll Association (APA®) Certified Payroll Professional (CPP®) designations and is a member of both organizations. She has completed additional American Management Association Courses. In 2018, she graduated from the Dale Carnegie Skills for Success, earning their Breakthrough and Highest Achievement Awards.
