MINNEAPOLIS, MN (June 04, 2021) – HomeServices Relocation (HSR), a division of HomeServices of America, a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate, and full-service global relocation management company is pleased to announce that Marian Padgett, CRP, GMS-T has been promoted from National Director of Business Development to Vice President Client Services.
Marian Padgett, a five-year member of HomeServices Relocation’s management staff, will report to the President and CEO and be responsible for all relationship management functions and quality service operations for her assigned client portfolio including oversight of the North Carolina team.
Padgett takes over for long-term industry veteran, Frances Wells, who will be officially retiring June 30, 2021. Wells’ valued contributions have been integral to the success and growth of HomeServices Relocation. Her commitment and dedication to serving HSR’s client needs and the needs of her team with positive energy and grace will be remembered. We wish Frances all the best as she enjoys a happy, healthy and well-deserved retirement!
Padgett brings over two decades of relocation and real estate experience to the company. In previous roles, Marian served as Director of Relocation and Business Development for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Carolinas Realty in North Carolina as well as Broker-in-Charge for the Lake Norman office and the South Park office in the Charlotte area.

Marian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Wake Forest University. She earned her Certified Relocation Professional (CRP®) and Global Mobility Specialist-Talent (GMS-T) designations from Worldwide ERC®. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and has her real estate license in North Carolina and South Carolina, including Broker-In-Charge eligibility.
